Who is responsible
AI Skill Pass is published by [trade name], Chamber of Commerce 27314126, based in The Hague, the Netherlands. We are the controller within the meaning of the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) for the processing described here. Privacy contact: privacy@aiskillpass.nl.
What we process, and why
- Account: name and email address. Basis: performance of the contract - no account, no course access.
- Course progress and quiz results: which lessons were completed and which quiz and exam results were achieved. Basis: performance of the contract. Under team licences the dashboard shares progress and completion with the licence holder (your employer or school); that is the core of the service and is stated on the licence page.
- Certificates: name, course, date and certificate number, frozen at the moment of issue. The public verification page shows these details when the unique number is entered. Basis: performance of the contract and our legitimate interest in reliable verification.
- Orders and payments: order data through our shop; the payment itself runs at Mollie. We never receive full payment details. Basis: performance of the contract and legal obligations.
- Invoices: created and sent through Bunni, our bookkeeping system. Basis: legal obligation.
- Email: for the free module, the test and the newsletter we use double opt-in and log your consent. Basis: consent, withdrawable at any time via the unsubscribe link.
- Analytics: we use self-hosted, cookieless analytics (Umami). No tracking cookies are set and no advertising profiles are built. That is why you see no cookie banner here.
Who we share data with
Only with parties needed to deliver the service: Mollie (payments), Bunni (invoicing), Cloudflare (DNS and security layer) and our own servers in the EU (hosting and email). Processing agreements are in place with processors. We do not sell data.
How long we keep data
- Certificates: 7 years - the certificate and its verification are the product.
- Orders and invoices: 7 years, under the Dutch fiscal retention duty (article 52 AWR).
- Test and newsletter emails: until you unsubscribe.
- Inactive accounts: after 3 years of inactivity we delete the account, with a warning email first. Certificate data remains stored within the period above.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, within the limits of the GDPR and our legal retention duties. Email privacy@aiskillpass.nl and you will receive a reply within one month. Complaints can be lodged with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Age
Our services are aimed at adults. The parent course is about children, but made for parents.
